	Joule are a consulting structural engineering practice based in the centre of Manchester. The aim of the practice is to provide high quality engineering designs recognising the essential contribution that design has on the built environment. Joule personnel have extensive experience working on a wide range of projects including, structural engineering, master planning, infrastructure, and civil engineering. Current projects include, inner city residential and office developments, city centre master planning and feasibility studies, bars & restaurants, education facilities, retail outlets, conversion of listed buildings, private houses, and structural reports. Project values range from large £50m new build residential and commercial developments, to medium size projects of £1m to £10m in various sectors, to small projects and reports. Our approach is to explore a range of options through feasibility studies at concept and briefing stage to ensure that the structure forms an integral part of a coordinated design. This is refined into a developed design and working details for building with the continuity of senior level input throughout all the stages of the process. Our commitment to high quality design has been recognised by local and national awards for projects and for innovation in structural design.
