Albert Shed, Dukes 92, Manchester This project comprises a large extension to this popular bar in Castlefield to include a new restaurant, function room, and beer & wine cellars. The existing building was re-organised to link into the existing kitchen and function room. Joule worked with Stephenson Bell Architects on this project.
Royal George, Knutsford This is a complex site in the heart of the historic town of Knutsford and involved the conversion of a listed hotel building, demolition of a high street hotel and replacement with retail, offices and apartments. Further new build shops and apartments line a new street with car parking beneath. Core Design are the Architect and the project value is approximately £6m.
Walsall Parking Hedge, Walsall As part of the Alsop master plan for the Walsall Waterfront site, Joule are designing this 200m long, 8 storey linear building housing commercial units and car parking to serve the whole development. Natural ventilation to the car park levels is provided through a fully planted facade.
Lookers Vauxhall and Renault Car Showrooms, Chester On this flood plane in site on the outskirts of Chester, Joule have co-ordinated the river engineering, sustainable drainage, and external works design, as well as producing the structural design of the new and refurbished buildings on the site with Taylor Design Architects.
Williams BMW & Mini, Liverpool Working with Taylor Design Architects, the project comprises an extension to a Mini showroom and the conversion of an existing industrial building to new office and workshop facilities for BMW.
